Black Eyed Pea Soul Cook-Off & Community Celebration

The Blackeyed Pea Soul Cook-Off is a culinary competition where participants prepare and share their best blackeyed pea recipes. Cooks compete for prizes and bragging rights. Family fun, helpful resources and an opportunity to visit St. Philip's are part of the day. Cook-Off entry is $30 for an adult age 18+ or a team and must be paid online. Each contestant is responsible for supplying all cooking equipment, ingredients, supplies and utensils. Contestants receive specific rules after the entry fee is paid. All entry funds collected benefit St. Philip's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Health Partner: October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Men and women are encouraged to get screened.
